Jean and Mary are thus due an apology in that case. Sooner the better as I cannot bear to think of the kindest, most welcoming and supportive people being devastated at defending NRAS. Neither lady deserves this.

I'm a moderator on another forum (where the mods are known to the users and can be approached directly by the click of a button) and normal mod etiquette is to write to any person who has had a post deleted to explain why it was deleted.
This, if done sensitively, can often prevent the sort of unease being felt on here right now.
